We're looking for an experienced exterior plasterer who's ready to take the next step into leadership.

About Edge Exterior Plastering
Edge Exterior Plastering is a family-owned business based in Taupō, specialising in premium exterior plastering and painting services.
We're LBP Licensed (E2 Exterior Plastering) and certified applicators for SCP and Sto New Zealand plaster systems.
Our reputation has been built on craftsmanship, professionalism, honest communication, and delivering work we're proud to stand behind.

The Opportunity
As our Plastering Foreman / Site Lead, you'll take ownership of projects from start to finish.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll still be on the tools while managing day-to-day site operations, leading a small team, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring every project is delivered professionally.
You'll become the main point of contact on site, representing Edge with builders, homeowners, and suppliers while helping create an environment where great workmanship becomes the standard.

Leading and supervising a small plastering team across multiple projects

Planning daily and weekly workflow to keep projects on schedule

Applying and overseeing premium exterior plaster systems including SCP, Sto NZ and equivalent systems

Running daily toolbox briefings and allocating work

Maintaining exceptional quality throughout every stage of each project

Communicating professionally with builders, clients and company owners

Identifying and solving site issues before they become problems

Maintaining high Health & Safety standards every day

Using Fergus job management software to manage project progress

Helping improve systems, processes and the way we operate as we continue to grow
What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for someone who leads by example.
You'll have strong technical plastering experience, enjoy mentoring others, and naturally take ownership of your work.

Qualified exterior plasterer

Full current drivers licence

Proven experience leading small site teams

Strong planning and organisational skills

Bonus Skills
While not essential, these would certainly stand out:

Licensed Building Practitioner (E2)

Painting qualification or experience

Fergus or similar job management software

Willingness to relocate to Taupō
