TAUPO - WAIKATO - BAY OF PLENTY

At Edge Exterior Plastering we specialize in STO & Specialized plaster cladding systems, exterior painting, remedial work, and designing specialty molds for residential clients, housing companies, and commercial projects.

 

We are looking for a motivated Exterior Plasterer to join the team. Working alongside the company director and staff to achieve an excellent finish on all the projects we work on. You will have the ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised when required. Good timekeeping and being a team player are essential for this role. We work hard to get the job done in a prompt timeframe whilst maintaining a high standard. Tools and required safety gear are provided. 

 

Tasks in this role include:

 

Prepping Job Sites - masking, drop sheets, moving obstructions, etc…

Mixing Plaster

Applying Plaster & Meshing 

Float Finishes

Painting

Cleaning up Job Sites

Along with other various tasks as advised by the manager

 

Work hours will generally be approx. 7:00am - 4:00 or 5:00pm Monday to Friday. 

As the weather can affect our work, we may on occasion and after consultation work on weekends in lieu of normal weekdays.

 

The majority of our work is currently in the Taupo area but also extends to the greater Waikato and Bay of Plenty, your own transport would be preferable to get to a base point where we leave from as a team, however, a company vehicle would be made available to the right person.

The following would be preferable but not essential as the right attitude is most important to us.

• Experience in the coating and cladding industry 

• Have experience with the application of Specialized or Sto plastering systems and exterior painting

• Experienced in trowelling
